The median sales prices of Brevard’s existing single-family homes rose to $140,000 in June.
Prices and sales of existing-single family homes in Brevard County continued on a steady pace in June.
Sales jumped more than 16 percent from last year, the FloridaRealtors reported in its monthly 10K report. The 880 closed sales were the highest tally going back to June 2004 when 918 sales closed.
The median sales prices of Brevard’s existing single-family homes — the point at which half the homes sell for less, half for more — rose to $140,000 in June, a 7.7 percent improvement over last year’s $130,000.
That’s the highest median sales price so far this year. The last time it was higher was in Nov. 2013 when it was $142,750.
National sales data also was released this morning by the National Association of Realtors.
